Speaker Bio
Born in Rome in 1977, Giuseppe graduated in telecommunications engineering at University of Rome “La Sapienza” before achieving a Master in Asset Management” at “Politecnico di Milano” University.
Since June 2022, Giuseppe has been and is currently the Head of Connectivity, IoT & Automation for the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group where he initiated a path of evolution concerning the corporate connectivity system that realizes important elements of digitalization linked to the Internet of Things, Edge Computing and the use of advanced wired and wireless connectivity systems with the goal of guaranteeing the connectivity resilience and availability.
In January 2022, Giuseppe accepted the role of Program Director of Gigabit Rail&Road, tasked to help the Company and the Government Institution into the digital transformation
From 2016 to 2021, Giuseppe was Head of telecommunication systems of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, where he gained significant experience in the field of technological innovation and digital evolution in support of operational processes, guaranteeing their resilience.
After gaining experience with telecommunication vendors like Ericsson and Nokia, Giuseppe began his professional career with the Mobile Operator Company for over 15 years, in the field of design applied to the sectors of Radio and Core Network, which would continue until 2016 in roles of increasing responsibility.
