Mr Salmelin has almost two decades of experience in the aeronautical industry in both IT and OT domains enabling the push for digitalisation, automatisation and cybersecurity in the Airbus plants both in Europe and around the world.
Involved in multiple projects to drive innovation in the digitalisation, automation and 5G implementation within Airbus to make sure Airbus can get the most from the emerging technologies and innovations without sacrificing productivity, quality and reliability. These projects are to increase productivity, quality and security by automating and having full traceability of the processes with secure solutions.
