Ricky Rubio, born on October 21, 1990, in El Masnou, Spain, began his professional basketball career at just 14 years old.Spending 13 years in the NBA, playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns and Cleveland Cavaliers . In 2024, he returned to Spain to play for FC Barcelona.
Off the court, Rubio's passion for social impact led him to establish the Ricky Rubio Foundation in 2018.
Focused on fighting lung cancer, aiding underprivileged children through basketball programs, and supporting pediatric cancer humanization, Rubio's foundation reflects his commitment to making a difference.
